Time tracking that lives on the issue
Timers, timesheets, and billable rates without another subscription
Most teams glue a time tracker onto their project tool and spend Friday reconciling the two. Kapvel tracks time where the work is: start a timer on any issue, or log hours manually, and timesheets assemble themselves.
Track as you work
One running timer per person, visible in the top bar wherever you are in the app. Stop it and the entry lands on the issue with a note. Prefer batch logging? Add manual entries against any day from the timesheet grid.
Timesheets and reports
The weekly timesheet shows everyone's entries bucketed by day in the project's timezone, with totals per issue, person, and project. Estimates versus logged hours surface on every issue, so scope creep is visible while it is still cheap.
Rates for billing
Set hourly rates per member and reports translate hours into money — enough for agency invoicing and cost tracking without exporting to a spreadsheet (though CSV export is there when accounting asks).

Know where the week actually went
Log work right on the issue — estimates burn down as hours land. The workspace timesheet rolls everything up per person, per project, per week, ready for invoicing or capacity planning.
- Log work from the issue, the board, or the timesheet grid
- Estimates vs. logged time, burned down automatically
- Workspace timesheet by person, project, and week

Frequently asked questions
Does Kapvel have a timer?
Yes — start a timer on any issue and it follows you in the top bar. One timer runs at a time per person; stopping it creates a time entry with an optional note.
Can I see estimated versus actual time?
Yes. Issues carry time estimates, and logged time is compared against them on the issue, in the timesheet, and in reports.
Does it support billable rates?
Yes — per-member hourly rates turn logged time into cost/billing figures in reports. Ideal for agencies tracking client work.
